WF1 WEBPAGE FINISHED

AUGUST 5TH 2015 10pm PST. The final touches are complete and the brand new page is up, running and waiting to launch following the season 20 opening race at the suzuka circuit in Japan. Idealist behind the website and long time WF1 driver Letacomafia had a few words to say about the new site and the future of WF1. "I'm very pleased with the work that has been done to finally have a proper web page for a great virtual racing league. We have had a couple in the past but it seemed it was one of those situations where at first it had seemed like a great idea in the person's head, but it had not occurred to them all the constant updating on the standngs that they would have to do each week. I do plan to have the standings updated less than 4 hours after the race. I want to leave a little room just in case we would have to sort an incident out. As for the future of this league a new chapter is coming soon. We will be moving into a new generation of consoles. So far that future looks a bit bleak, but Codemasters has another 10-12 more before we decide to make the move. As for me i will not be running this season. I'm taking one more season off, depending if these guys come over to th xbox one next season. This season i just wanted to make my presence known again by saying "hey i'm back and i come bearing gifts!" It allow some new drivers to get a chance in this league. I've looked at these new guys and see great news. About half of them are new names i haven't seen before and it's great to see new names. I am also sure that just having a web page like this will boost our notoriety in the virtual F1 community."
